Wizard of the Keys

NOW it is 1924

'The First Manifesto of Surrealism' by André Breton emerges

NOW it is 1974

'YOU,' the third album of the 'Radio Gnome Invisible Trilogy' emerges

NOW it is 2024

100 years since the First Manifesto, 50 since YOU.

NOW is the happiest time of your life!

What strange wonders will emerge this year?

Keep 'em peeled.

Like a banana.

That's an introduction, of sorts.

This blog is a celebration of Gong in all its guises and offshoots, launched on what would have been the 86th birthday of Dada Ale, the Divided Alien Daevid Allen - Gong but not forgotten (*gong sound*).

I'll be posting episodic mixes of Gong Family music, rarities and interviews. I would also like to open the floor to any Gong fans who have rarities, photo's, images, stories, memories or memorabilia about the Gong Family that they'd like to share. It's an idea, anyway, let's see what happens. Speak to me at wyrd.daze@gmail.com

Without further ado, I present the first episode of 'Wizard of the Keys'
